You’ll be able to access the internet for free, read magazines and newspapers for free, rent DVDs, CDs, Audio books for a small charge. 60+ and children generally get discounts on CDs, DVDs, Audio books. Children can generally borrow Audio books for free and generally do not get charged for overdue items.
Most libraries in your Council will let you borrow from one branch and return to another (including mobile library vans). And you can generally search your library catalogue, reserve and renew your items online.
Libraries also organize lots of free events and activities.
