Be More Dog
So that, in case you didn’t know is Cicero’s 2nd mistake which I have written about in this article: Self-Help: Why Cicero’s 6 Mistakes Of Man Is All You Need
Dog’s don’t make this mistake.
Without going into too many details, we are having a difficult time at the moment at home. There is a lot of stress around us (for good reason following a recent family bereavement) and also lots of extra stress, again without going into too many details, caused quite simply by humans being difficult.
Couple this with the world around us which seems more unhinged than ever and I have been marvelling lately at just how difficult humans can make things. It all sounds a bit negative but the facts speak for themselves, human beings are pretty destructive.
On any given subject – taken at a macro level, it doesn’t look too good.
Would the planet be better off without our beautiful race? Well, yes it obviously would. There would be no plastic for a start.
So I can bang on about mindfulness (already have done – loads), green stuff, being more caring, forgiveness, nature, spiritual stuff etc. to show my appreciation for simplicity & nature and NOT doing all that selfish, destructive, over-analytical, stressy stuff that we just seem destined to default back to when anything gets a bit much.
Or I can offer you a slightly different, slightly amusing, entertaining & deceptively philosophical perspective which offers all of the above.
Be more dog.
(I don’t particularly want to promote O2 here, but O2 if you’re watching – you’re welcome, it’s just a great ad).
